We believe discipleship is essential for a Church and her people to be healthy and firmly grounded in Christ. As such, it is the most emphasized ministry at Harbor Church.

Our Mission and Vision for discipleship at Harbor is:
1. To create and nurture meaningful relationships within our community.
2. To grow our relationship and knowledge of God through study, prayer and conversation.
3. To empower and equip disciples to make disciples.

Below you'll find a brief overview of how we hope to fulfill this mission.

Our main method of discipleship at Harbor is our Wednesday night “Refuel.” Think of Refuel as a small group, not so much a midweek service. We enjoy a taco dinner and fellowship to start, followed by a time of discussing Scripture with one another.

Join us from 6-8pm!

Personal devotions are essential if we are to grow closer to Jesus. We’re helping you build the discipline in your life by providing quality, but easy materials to get started with, such as our quarterly “Reflecting God” devotional.

Our Women’s Ministry is a robust discipleship method to draw the women in our church closer together and closer to the Lord. There are several ways we achieve this

Girls’ Night Out (GNO): Every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm we gather for fellowship, prayer and devotion. The second Tuesday we meet at a restaurant in town for fellowship. The fourth Tuesday we meet at the church for a night of devotions via a women’s ministry curriculum.

Winter Retreat: Every winter our women gather for a Friday-Saturday retreat at Hidden Hollow Farms where we spend significant time in prayer, study, and lots of fun!

Night of Joy: We also attend Night of Joy every year as a group to be inspired by the music of Natalie Grant and hear and inspirational word from Charlotte Gambill. It never disappoints!

Our Men’s Ministry exists to draw men closer to each other and to equip us to live more faithful lives as Christians. We accomplish this goal in several ways.

Men’s Breakfast: We meet every other Saturday morning at 8:00am, at McDonald’s (231 South) for a time of fellowship and a Bible study.

Spring/Fall Retreats: We love to get together in ways that are fun and engaging for men. Whether that’s through a spring camping retreat or our fall paintball retreat, you’re sure to find great ways to bond with other men, be inspired to live more faithfully, and develop a strong relationship with Jesus.
